Dear Lynn:
My wife, Vicky, and I attended the Texas Reptile Expo in San Antonio this weekend hoping to see you there. I only just discovered that you have a website, and learned that you no longer participate in the Texas Reptile Expo shows.

We were especially interested in seeing you because we purchased our bearded dragon, Sunny, from you at that show exactly one year ago.

I had brought along some photos of sunny and I had one digital photograph that I enlarged and wanted to give to you. I've attached the photo to this email. It shows Sunny and me, and was taken this July.

Vicky and I just wanted to thank you for raising such a beautiful animal. Since the day we brought him home, Sunny has been robust and had a good appetite. What's more, he has a wonderful easy-going nature - he's never even displayed his beard. We give him a lot of love, and I think he knows it.

All of our friends and family have met Sunny, and our grandchildren love him.

Sunny lives in a 110 gallon terrarium (by "Cages by Design"). But half the time, he gets to free-roam in our guest room (which has been made lizard-proof, se we don't have to worry about him getting into trouble).

He's really a member of our famiy and we adore him.

Thanks. Here is a pic of the male we got from you in March. NICE!

To Lynn's Bearded Dragons
Thanks.

I just wanted to tell you thank you for my healthy dragon. My friend and I both purchased a dragon from you on Saturday. I bought the 2 month old and she bought the one in the next tub.

When I told my husband that I bought another lizard, he said "not another one". We only have 4.2 leopard geckos, 1 iguana and now a bearded dragon.

.

I reminded him that when I was in high school 1983, I had 75 lizards in my home. Most were geckos (leopard, fat tail, day, tokay), red-eye tree frogs, iguana, rinosarous iguana, 5 ft water monitor that I thought I could hide from my mother (ha ha) and a hypomelanistic dragon.

.

I have one question: should my 2 month old be interested in greens yet? Mine so far does not seem interested. I have been feeding him (chopped fine) the same thing I give my iguana in the morning: mustard greens, squash. Then the next day would be something like mized veggies. He does eat the crickets but I don't want him to get full on crickets and never eat the greens.

What would you do?
Stephanie
PS. My husband loves him.

Thanks Lynn for the wonderful dragon.

Hi Lynn,
My name is Sharon Monk and we adopted a beardie from you back in August of 2003 at an expo at the Richardson civic center. I just wanted to let you know how our dragon "Ozzie" is doing.

ozzie

He has grown tremendously since we got him in one of the little plastic tupperware bowls. I suppose from nose to end of tail, he is about 18 inches long and has great color!! He loves his cilantro and his crickets. He would choose a cricket over a worm anyday, though!! My kids love him and love to be a part of his feeding and cuddling times every night. He loves his food bowl and uses it as a bed too. He has a great cage with an auto water bowl and a hammock. He always hangs off the hammock like he is trying to fly and loves to look at our fish from the corner of the hammock while he lays on it.

He is a great animal and we love him to death. We even ahve a special stocking for him on our mantlepiece. We are going to give him a leash for Christmas and a new climbing stick for Christmas!

I've attached a picture of the latest Ozzie positioning, enjoy!!!

Have a great Holiday and a wonderful New year!

Hey Lynn, this is Clint.
I just wanted to thank you so much for doin everything you have done for me. I have talked to a bunch of people that have bought bearded dragons from you and I have never heard a complaint. Your bearded dragons get prettier everytime I see them. I'm sure they are gettin prettier as we speak.

I really enjoy talking about my beardies with you and your husband and I would also like to say that your husband has an awesome collection of ball pythons. I hope to have that many some time when I get older, but tell him I said good luck in the future with producin some awesome ball pythons and I am sure he will cause yal have surely got the prettiest and well card for bearded dragons.

Dear Mrs. Lynn,
I thank you very much for the 2 bearded dragons you sold me back in December at the Live Oak Civic Center. Teh 2 male and female dragons are doing very well and are little pigs. They eat about 200 crickets a week!!

I will be sure to go to all of the reptile expos I can just to see you and say "Hi". I enjoy their company and love them very much. Thanks again.

And thank you for being nice to me and explaning things to me.

Thank you soooo much (again).

Hi.
We attended the Expo in Galveston last weekend and purchased one of your babies. I believe your husband said she is the offspring of Cactus and Tommy (sandfilre x hypo).

Just wanted to let you know how much we love her! We've named her Priscilla (although I call her Miss Priss most of the time).

She's settling in quite nicely, very curious and active and eating like a little pig!

I was given 2 adult males by a friend who was no longer able to care for them. He was told that one of them was a female, but after observing them for several days and, upon closer inspection, I discovered that "Ingrid" needed a new name. Ingrid is now Bob!!! Just seemed to fit, due to his behavior!! LOL

We have 16 snakes of various varieties, but no Dragons until recently. I've been giving myself a crash course on their care so I think we are in good shape there. They are housed separately for safety and are all warm enough with a thermal gradient. All are eating well. Each has their own distinct personality and we are thoroughly enjoying them!

Your husband was very nice and answered all my questions without making me feel dumb.

Just wanted to say thanks and let you know how much we love Miss Priss.
